Changed the air filter yesterday and the mileage is improving. I have done 2 trips with the new filter :

    1) 20.2 kms with mileage of 20.2kmpl
    2) 15.9kms with mileage of 19.7kmpl.

ACB has improved from 15.9 to 16.2kmpl after the new air filter.

Car is in Fortune Nerul today for the following complaints:

    - The small rubber part in the front passenger quarter glass either was broken or fell off.
    - Reverse light in the bumper is hanging loose. A broken clip is the culprit.
    - Driver seat belt tends to stick while unbelting.

Let's see how they solve these issues.

They won't be able to fix it. JUGAAD is the best option (Read Feviquick)

If you need a permanent fix you have to replace the entire bumper !!

I know it sounds dumb : but that's the way it is

Actually its a plastic hook and can't be fixed once broken.
Only option is Feviquick. For me TASC guys that and its holding from last 2-3 months.

Amogh, you were right. Fortune said they will use Feviquick to stick the reverse light. Since it's a long job they wanted the car to come back after a appointment. The front quarter glass was fixed and the reverse light jugaad is being done from a independant garage.

Mine has the same issue. The rear left one, It is still hanging on
(as the SA said during the last visit, they needed more time to attend to this and hence postponed to the next visit)

But after a drive, still it makes me to have a glance whether it is still there or gone its way.. !

24,500 kms up, a long drive happened.

Chembur to Chakan via the Expressway and back.
In Chakan from MIDC to MIDC Talawde.
    30 psi in all tyres.
3 people on board minimal luggage.
normal driving with A/C on full time.
Heavy rains on the way back.

    Total 300 kms.
    MID display 19.9kmpl.
    Avg speed 47 kmph.

The new air filter has done it. All the thoughts of falling mileage are gone. The Punto is as fuel efficient as it was on day one! :clap

The Fiat Factory drive returned a overall mileage of 21.2kmpl. Fantastic considering the peak hour Pune traffic we encountered in the morning. On the way back I took the route through Chakan - again through heavy commercial vehicle traffic as I crossed Chakan around 6.30 - 7.00pm when the container's and trucks start their journey. The return drive took me 4 hours and 10 minutes! Out of that it took me 2 hours to get to the expressway from Ranjangaon via Chakan!

I reset my trip computer at the second toll plaza from Pune and drove till the Vashi bridge. The mileage is shown below:
