Regarding the seats u can get it to Wasan and show them the issue they should replace it.. For sure they wont agree at the beginning but youve got to fight for your rights and am sure you'd get a replacement in the same day.. When i got it replaced for my punto they didnt have the seat in stock had to wait for a week till it was replaced as per my convenience..

And abt the FE and idling issue they should be able to solve it for u....

 

The seat doesn't creak all the time and that is the problem here. It is creaking now so if it hold's till Tuesday, I will show it to Fortune, Nerul.

Regarding fuel efficiency, what I meant was that my car idles a lot nowadays with ACC on - as in I am in the car with ACC running and the car waiting. Plus my driving has become a little hard since the past few weeks. The sweet chassis , perfect suspension and that brilliantly set up HPS just eggs you to drive!

 

+1 to Amogh. I was following amit's review on TBHP, but then I guess things weren't great. Good to read it here in a better focused group.

 

BTW i'd been to Wasan yesterday and they didnt have the seats on stock as usual.. But was shocked to see that the had the RHS orvm which i needed in stock and got them replaced for me in 30mins which was like a dream for me... Never thought it would be so quick.

 

The heavy rains in Mumbai since the past one week showed up one fault with the car.

The rear carpets were soaking wet! There is some leakage which I believe was from the underside of the car. Yesterday, Fortune Nerul changed the beadings of both the doors to solve this problem. The results are still not out on whether the problem has been solved though. I do have to add that the quality of the beadings is utter rubbish. The right side beading can be pulled down easily by even a 2 year old kid! I will be posting pics later during the day.

For the seats issue, the dealer asked me to give him time til Thrusday. Apparently, he will make a complaint to Fiat and the seat manufacturer who will come and inspect the car after which the problem will be tackled.

I am really uncomfortable with the quality of the beadings and plan to ask them to change them again when the car goes for the seat issue.

 

Amit sad to hear that your rare carpet is soaked in the rains.. Also Amit please check for the door panels as they were removed during your ICE upgrade and if not fixed correctly may cause this leak issue..

 

So amit finally any status on your issue???
where exactly is the leak from???

Did you check the tailgate rubber seal??? maybe water is seeping in from there...

 

Amit bhai I still feel something wrong in the fitment during yor ICE upgrade..
