the problem might be from the wiper stalk assembly switch as well,please ask them to check.The air bag failure wiring can be found in this switch.

please find the snap for the assembly switch in above thread.The combi switch comes different for airbag variants.Hope this helps

 

I suggest Amaron FLO, cheaper but a very good battery.

 

It's been almost a week now, no airbag failure messages. I got the battery checked out last Sunday and the battery water was topped up, after that no MID alert about airbag has come up.

Only lingering doubt is that this problem used to appear sometimes even before the car went in for service and came back with loose battery terminal connection's. Maybe all that was needed was to top up the battery?
