Fiat, Ferrari & Formula 1 - Italy

I know we all are planning for a big meet again for visiting the fiat factory.

In the mean while, I was thinking if we have a meet which is not far but close by on a Sunday. We meet in the afternoon with our Fiats, drive around the usual spots in town and then chill out with a few few drinks (Within street legal limits to drive after a few hours - We Fiatians are of course responsible drivers) at a sports bar to watch the Italian Formula 1 on a large screen.

The options are
1. Sports bar at Colaba
2. Cafe Royal also in Colaba projects sporting events on a big screen
3. Sports Bar at Phoenix Mills - Lower Parel.

There are only 6 more races left in the current 2010 season. The next is the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday Sep 12th.

I think we need to pick a venue where Parking is ample.

AFAIK, there is more than adequate Parking space at the Option No. 3. Phoenix Mills Lower Parel, i know this as my office is in the same Complex

 

Thanks guys for appreciating the idea. If this idea finds favor with others from Bangalore, Pune, Delhi & Elsewhere - A similar meet can be coordinated by members in the respective cities.

Phoenix Mills does have ample car parking due to the mall and commercial building. Just that we'll need to reach there early by say around 3:30 - 4 as the place gets very crowded on Sunday evenings.

Not much response except a few of us.
Anyway.. There will be 5 more races left in the current season.
Probably we can meet on some other Sunday Raceday if more member wish to..
..Also another piece of info..
I had been to the Palladium.. Phoenix Mills this Friday. The Sports Bar was closed. There are two other good Bars though..

Parking is plenty. Valet parking or drive up the ramp in circles for upto 6 levels of parking.
