In my PDI..I saw Bridgestone turanza stock tyres for Punto ACTIVE.. (165/60/14)

Can somebody else confirm...they have same too..

I saw Goodyear GT3 for emotion & dynamic..

BB Turanza should be a better choice..

Now I'm wondering should I opt for 14" alloys & keep tyre...the same

Or should I go for 15" alloys & change tyre as well..

    Please suggest

To my limitted knowldege, Turanza series from Bridgestone is a good and balanced one. So, if you do not have specific preferences, i suggest you could retain the same and just upgrade to alloys.

OOpss...overlooked the fact that stock tyres are 165/60/r14...strict NO...as it looks bad...

So question now is if I upgrade alloys & tyres to 15...what happens to overall mechanicalwarranty of car??

    Please suggest

Think fiat has put BB in active as 2012 models have 195 gc ? for better frip and stability , correct me if wrong :)

    Hello puntosat

I would suggest that upsize the tires to 185-70 R 14. Way good tire for city.

Also if you are planning for alloys please stick to the 14" ones.

I have already been told that any change in profile of size of alloy could tamper the warranty. just a precaution

Also the tires and the alloys will need a 6.0 fit for the 98 PCD ones.

So you might want to research n think b4 any changes to tires or alloys.

    Are you sure?

I asked manager at Aadya..he said if & when u claim warranty switch back to ur original settings before u come :)

Need more opinions on this please..will changing tyre profile void warranty?

Stay with current one. Change to 185/70 R14 when the tyre change is due.

Even I am on the lookout for 15inch 98pcd alloys and 195/60/R15 tyres for my 2011 Punto Active. Now that the Emotion (earlier emotion pack) variant comes with similar profile of tyres and alloys, will this planned upgrade result in warranty issues?
