FIAT BAGS Another- BEST NEW ENGINE AWARD

Not sure you guys had a chance to read the Auto Car- August edition. FIAT has won the BEST NEW ENGINE AWARD globally for the Multi Air technology that increases the power, torque and at the same time FE by 15%!! There were 66 new engines introduced by different brands and FIAT came out as the winner. Although VW won the best engine [currently on road] award.

Also, it was good to read Auto Car showering praises for FIAT in the section by Shapoor Kotwal that mentions about how innovative FIAT has been in terms of their products and the engines. The statement says- What Mercedes is to a car- FIAT is to a small Car.

There is a exclusive interview with the FIAT CEO as well and the focus is clearly now on India by rolling out new models in the coming months. FIAT is also considering bringing in a car in the segment below Punto and this car will be based on India consumer feedback.
