ohhh... That's why you were going so easy:mrgreen:
No more Fiat cars in Tata showrooms - Overdrive

i want it wrong, "No more sales & service at TATA showrooms henceforth"
We may need a few tips from you how to service it:).

@ENKI, I think what teky intended to ask is, why do you think that Tata showrooms will stop selling Fiat cars with immediate effect? It is not mentioned anywhere in the press note released by Fiat. To my knowledge, this transition will be a slow and smooth affair.

Ramjn, what would "HENCEFORTH" means in an article on 2nd may 2012.
    I don't know what's right?
It clearly says TATA won't sell it from 3rd may onwards.

It clearly says TATA won't sell it from 3rd may onwards.
It also says it's official now. That 2014 year deadline was decided 2-3 months back.
I think this article is a recent development & Overdrive caught it first.
May be news would be all over by today EOD:drinks

HEHEHEHE :D. Are you an ardent believer of Overdrive magazine, ENKI?

Read the Fiat press note for better picture.

    It clearly says,

"Both, Fiat and Tata will endeavor to ensure a smooth transition of sales and service support to customers and the dealer network."

I spoke to Aadya guy.he told me it will be a long smooth affair (~3-4 months)..

He also said Aadya will open a FIAT showroom & service themselves and he'll move over to there..this new showroom will come up near Yelahanaka...

I don't know how it would be a smooth transition if TATA does it like "Henceforth".
I think FIAT won't be able to sell 100 linea+Punto from this month onwards.
It's not being a believer RAM, but i am clearly referring this article only.
Have you read anything against "immediate separation" in FIAT's press?
That "smooth transition" further stamps it that it is happening with immediate effect.
That doesn't encourage me by a bit. It looks like nothing but a professional statement not to create panic among existing & prospective FIAT buyers:uh.

As i said, Overdrive was first to catch it & it will be all over public by today:cool

Whatever be the immediate repurcussions, this is a very positive first step!

And if FIAT has managed to get done with this so quickly, means that they are very serious about the 5th largest market in the world. Hope they will more than just 1% market share in the months to come. And with FIAT cafe like outlets, things will only improve - given that they will not loose out cost economics with the manufacturing tie-up in place - at least let's hope so.

Glad that it is official now, all the best FIAT.:drinks
