    Its a tradition in Fort Cochin, to welcome NEW YEAR by burning down the Christmas Father statue. there are numerous statues like these but only smaller.. not sure if this is a rumor..but i heard the below statue was made for a movie but when it was abt to be burned down.. people stopped them and stated it can only be done on the 31st Mid night.. so the sequel might be shoot later tonight..
