my 1.4 linea used to consume oil before 10k kms. i had a top up once. but now it seems that it has settled.
my car's dip stick shows oil way above the max limit. this is after the 2nd service. is it really harmful. should i keep it between the min and max level??? if this is so then the SC has been really careless. need suggestions guys.

Oil level should be between Min and Max level.
Oil level should be checked when the engine is cold, Best is to check after parking the car overnight.
Oil above max level is not good for engines, get the excess oil drained ASAP.

FIAT Linea owner's handbook recommends checking the oil level after 5 minutes of switching off the engine. It should not exceed the maximum level.
