Mobil 1 0W40 is pretty much the gold standard of petrol engine car oils. Good choice.
So does this means that petrol engine's running temperature is high compared to diesel engine ?
I'm sorry but I don't understand how you reached that conclusion based on my post...
Nopes its not conclusion Sir.
Just got that that wierd thought ,because we have different categories of Oil for petrol engine and diesel engine :confused
As opposed to popular thought, that's just not the case.
You can easily use Delvac 1 for both Multijet and T-Jet / FIRE. And Mobil 1 0W40 for both as well. Doesn't really matter for our cars.
I'm very sure the Multijet can even survive using LAAL GHODA oil. LOL.
when i asked our local dealer for 5w 40 then he replied "saab 5w 40 nahin aatha,10w 40 aur 20w 40 aatha" apnae pass lal ghoda bhi hein
Maybe it has been answered somewhere earlier, but I couldn't find it - so here's my question -
Where is the oil filter located in Linea 1.4 FIRE? I looked around hard in the engine bay but couldn't find anyplace where a new one can fit. Is it under the air box / engine cover?
How Important is it to change the oil filter every time you change the oil if i regularly change @ 7/8k. Is it ok if I change say @ every 15k?
Whenevr there is change of oil,oil filter change is must.
