Could you please throw some light on whether we can stick to 15.000Kms/1Year change cycle for engine oil or can should we need to change it before? If so please specify at how many kms should we change?

Company recommends 15,000kms and the oil used for the same is a semi-sythetic Selenia WR5W-40. After market of similar or better grade are recommended for 7.5-10k at max. The call is yours. If you insist to change at 7.5 or 10k the company provided Selenia, they cannot stop you. It will indeed help for sure to keep the engine cleaner and more healthy in the medium to long run.

Fiat might in future bring down the service interval for oil. Although that is not confirmed yet. Meanwhile if you are in warranty the recommended service interval means its Fiat's headache if something engine related props up during this period. Make sure the service is not delayed. You can always service a bit early than recommended to avoid service delays that can cause warranty issues.

I personally prefer an oil change every 10k. Engine will run much smoother in a long run. If your is remapped you need to stick to 10k interval.
