  1. I saw this car in Pride cars on Saturday it is 13 year old car with 1.6 lakh kms on ODO,still running like it was a decade back.
I even talked to the owner today over phone he says it has been very reliable car.

I saw 1,30,000+ km run on a 2010 Linea MJD EPK White color on my visit to TASS and I was like
Recounted the digits to ensure its not 13,000+ . No it was not from a taxi segment.

All the chrome strips where blown off i guess, even the addon strips where dangling. Car didnt look in to good condition from exterior, but what matters was there where not many internal issues, i guess he was there for general checkup and replacing few parts.

Yesterday i saw a July 2010 Linea, and i was fairly impressed by the way exteriors were maintained,it was scratchless, with everything in place.I was expecting it to be 30-40K on odo max,and when i looked at the odo,i saw 1.05L on odo.
And a few days back,i saw a Linea at a paintshop, and it looked as if it just returned from hell after a decade, with scratches and dents on each and every possible space including the roof, had a look at odo,and it was just 62K,and i have this habit,of looking at every fiat's odometer.

Surprisingly, most of the Punto's and Lineas i have seen have Odo's around 1 lakh or more.
But then there was this linea, which had its engine blown twice under a lakh kms.
Its all about how you take care of your vehicle.

1.6 really is peanuts, Sat. That Uno diesel should easily do 2.5-3 lakh without the engine ever being opened.

Palio D's routinely went 3-3.5 lakh before the engine needing overhauling. The well maintained ones. Abused ones had their engines overhauled at 60,000 even. Remember that Palio i posted about having run 7 lakhs.

In India lot of People fear of Palio's .. Mechanics say Palio is the best. Why people are so scared of PALIO's. My Uncles Palio 1.9D with 56k kms on ODO sold for just 1.4 Lacs.
Where as people never hesitate to buy Maruti Swift with 1lac on ODO at 4 - 5 lacs ( Though its heart is Fiat Made ).
