Own a New Linea 1.3 MJD. Bought in on May 2014. Have done 31,000 kms till now. Enjoyed the ride every time I hit the highway. But there was one thing killing me every time I drive in the city; the so called " turbo lag".

After so much research in internet and reading lot of reviews finally decided ECU remap was the best relief. Finalized on a company from Bangalore. They are "Code 6 tuning".

Mr. Sebastian Gino and his colleague from Code 6 tuning had come down to chennai. Driving enthusiast's and passionate about their work. I explained to them about what I expected from my MJD and they worked a new map for me and feeded in the system.

Let me review the performance upgrade in each gear.

    1st gear: No Changes.

    2 nd gear:
    a) Turbo lag reduced to say 95%.Too good.
    b) I don't have to shift to 1st often in traffic.
    c) Power boost up is too good as turbo opens up quickly.
    d) Able to push her to RPM max now.Though I mostly don't go past 35 in RPM unless necessary.

    3rd Gear:
    a) I don't have to shift to 2 nd often in traffic.
    b) Able to push her to RPM max now.Though I mostly don't go past 35 in RPM unless necessary.

    4th Gear:
In the highway s I get full power in this Gear.
When I slow down in 5 th just shift to 4th and she flies. Never had to use 3rd unless I slowed below RPM 10 in the highways.

    5th Gear:

As long as iam above RPM 15 I just need to floor the pedal and crossing 170 kmph is now piece of cake.

    Overall:

Car has become drievable in the city and performance machine in the highways.

Efficiency slightly dropped in city in the beginning, but gradually improving ; which I was told during the remap.

At times I feel iam driving a petrol car.

K&N Airfilter: Got a good offer in Amazon. Bought it for Rs.4650/-.Oem price Rs. 6990/-

Fitted in myself. Haven't got a chance to go on a highway after this.

Will post a detailed review after my next highway trip.

congrats on getting Code6 remaps. Gino had spoken about your remap the last time we met. Said about the mad rush he experienced at Chennai on his last trip.
