Today I saw fine dust deposited all around the inside of fuel inlet pipe after opening the fuel filling cap, not the outer flap, the inner one where the fuel nozzle goes in. When we pour fuel some amount of this fine dust will go into the fuel. Is that normal? If not what is the solution now? Please suggest.

I hope fuel filter is doing its job. I don't understand why so much dust should get in there at all. Is the fuel cap defective? Should I change that? I am thinking of ordering a new fuel cap from 99rpm.

If you feel change it... But it may be atmosphere dust sticking during filling fuel.

Yes, ordered part No. 46746613 from 99rpm. Cost is Rs. 966 for this piece of plastic. Isn't Fiat a rip off :-(
