    Turbo lag???? :-D :-D :p you must be jocking! :p :-D
Alright jocks apart! No sungoa no turbolag atall. As soon as you floor the paddle you feel the thrust on your chest man. Already butterflies were flying in my stomuch as i was driving BMW X1! And as i said after suddenly switching from Linea to X1 you seriously can't judge anything for a time of span as it is a whole new transformation! Above review i tried to give with-out compairing X1 with Linea. But about turbo-lag seriously i can't tell you if it is their or not. For that perfections i have to drive her for atleast a week. :p

But surely if i get to drive some more powerfull car than X1 then i can fermly make a statement on that. :)

    Nice thread!
It is so wonderful to read the different experiences of using these vehicles.
I never really had the chance to try out any other car at three digit speeds, still waiting eagerly for that chance.

Thanks Sugoa2010 for pointing me to this thread. Would like to share my experiences with two of my cars (320d, CRV ) I love.

BMW 320 d exclusive : 2011 model ; have done only 6100km in the last one year. Primary use it in the city for office work or on long high way drives. Driving pleasure is unparalleled. Has been very reliable. Avg : city 12, highway 14-15. Recently replaced runflat tires with tubeless ones. The ride has tremendously improved. Would keep it for couple of years. Mostly chauffer driven in the city.

Honda CRV 2007 automatic : Utterly reliable, pleasure to drive. Preferred vehicle for family out of the city drives. Though fuel efficient by American standard ( I bought it on the recommendations of my brother in lawwho is in California who also owns it ), it is poor by Indian standards ( 6-7km in the city and 8-9 in the highway ). Have done 40 K+. Recently changed the tires to Michelin. Absolute peace of my mind vehicle.

Recently I bought Punto 90 HP ( that is how I am in this forum ). Primarily use it for week end drives with my wife for temple visits outside BLR. Done 3700. Very reliable , pleasure to drive. Gives me around 20km/ltr. Let me attempt comparison of the three I have ( we know that they belong to different classes ). If I use a term ‘driving confidence ‘ which is function of ‘reliablity’, ‘ pleasure of driving ‘ ( ride, handling , acceleration, engine response … ),’peace of mind’, ’how well it serves my purpose ‘. This is how I rate them ( on a scale of 1-10 )

    320d : 9
    CRV : 9
    Punto : 8

This not scientific. But this is how I view them. I would be happy to share more of my experiences.

Have test driven all Skoda premium cars:
Skoda Laura: Steering not as good as the Linea's one,but still better than most of its competitors.amzing ride,Diesel Power:just amazing, car pulls like anything whether it would M/T or DSG! hot and high quality interiors and exteriors.

Skoda Yeti: Almost identical to laura, but engine pulls more cleanly but it does have a more gruff note while picking up speeds.its practical but priced too much.

Skoda Superb:Best-in-class, simply.. handling better than passat, accord, camry etc. and with the minimal body roll and quick steering! Thumbs up from me! and engines are also very powerful and efficient.
