    Hi,
Completed the fixing of Universal Arm rest for punto.
It costs 10% of OEM arm Rest (Linea 7K+) which i brought from Ebay.
It is making little bit of squeaking noise compared to OEM but if we see the cost advantage and ride comfort the issue can be ignored.
Linea arm rest were costing around 2K 3 years before and don't know what made fiat to increase the price, it is absolute ridiculous pricing.
Let the Pics talk about installation and still it is not 100% completed in-term of finishing(looking forward to close the open bolt) the idea might be a crude way of fixing but it is working as expected to be and very sturdy fix as of now.
1.dismantled handbrake trim(pull the black cover can be seen in next pic)
IMG_20170107_142937.jpg 2. Cover which sits on cup holder(we can tap the cup holder edges with screw driver and it will become lose so we can pull up the cover)

    3. Mark the holes and drill the cover(10 mm Bolts are used with flat and spring washers costed 40 rs)
    attached with arm rest base.

finally fitted with 4 bolts on each side

    Now fixed on the car

IMG_20170107_145452.jpg we can adjust the height and as well as slide forward the arm rest

same as above but i brought the product 2 years back for around 800 and it was doing duty in ertiga.
As we installed oem arm rest for ertiga, this moved to my daily work horse.

Nice mod. The arm rest is very handy in long distance drives and I can vouch for that. Does this arm rest have storage, coz mine does have it and now has become the dumping bin for most toll receipts, Fuel receipts, cables, PUC etc.

    Hello @vista7155
I've got universal arm rest for punto.
How's your arm rest functioning. Do have any suggestions on position or its height.
Is it holding on nicely to the hand brake cover.

    One more question please.
Once the hand brake cover is fixed over the cup holder along with the arm rest, is it possible to to remove it easily by tapping the cup holder edges, as mentioned in the step 2.

It's serving me well but there are little bit of squeaking noise as it's not strong as OEM fitting.
Regarding dismantling yes we can remove it easily.
