yes i mention this too on the thread Forum Quality. it should show unread posts. so if i dont login for 1 day i miss the threads altogether :(

well after making these RCA connections i can say that sound quality is not better, but not as better as that of a small tiny MP3 player i have.

again the complexity of my original circuit has increased. now i have OEM headunit with hacked 4 RCA + mp3 player 4 RCAs :)

if i now post the diagram of new circuit i bet people will throw stones at me for scratching their brains .. lol

thanks for the motivation sir :)

My car is October2010 purchase and it have blaupunkt processor. sound is alright from my POV.
though it sounds too flat with no oomph (crude internal equalizers can be culprit) I am used to and prefer flat , sober sound. but there is no noise,or any other anomalies.

IMO Mp3 players and mobile phone sounds bit aggressive and exaggerated same as head units available in market..but these preference are subjective .

Now you can completely ignore the dreaded speaker level sound(read as noise). and enjoy some cleaner sound from HU,especially Radio station and music with controls on steering .

Btw I am curious to know which IC does it accommodate? It would be hard for me to believe datasheet are not available hope you noted the right Number.

here are the pictures. one needs to be careful while pulling out the PCB as the IC heat sink copper plates are attached to the body etc.

    but its a fun activity.

the IC is different from the blaupunkt ones. also the DSP is different.

no its not TDA7385. after a lot of investigation the specs are same as TDA7566.
one person had replaced this IC with TDA7385 and it dint work. then the replaced with with TDA7566 and it worked.
