DIY: changing the front brake pads

    This thread was quite helpful and I changed the front brake pads today. It took me little over 1hr, I was trying to be cautious for the first wheel, but second one I changed in about 15mins. Should be possible in 40-45mins next time whenever I do.
    Just adding one picture where I used C-clamp to push brake cylinder.

    @PKMohan
    Can you tell the size of the C-clamp in the pic, you used.
    Happened to see many sizes in shops, your inputs will simplify the buy.
    I saw a 2"/50mm size , but it was looking small for this purpose.

    If anyone else happend to use such clamp,kindly share its size details.

    I bought 12cms C-clamp, as you can see in the picture it just fits, but I suggest you go for slightly bigger one . I guess I bought this for about Rs 200/-

    It shouldn't be much different in terms of procedure, as far as I know only pad design is changed. Latter version have butterfly clips, previous version don't. Not sure on rotors though.
