Hahahaha:happy::happy::happy:. Thats the way things roll when youn get into detailing. Its a passion thing. For beginners you can buy only the car shampoo and wash the car and dry it. Once you get the feel and you have some additional time, you can start using wax to get that glare. Further start correcting some minor scratches with the rubbing compound. And then comes the alloys/wheels.

What I have mentioned in my post above is just the 50% of the product list. Ask @SunnyBoi or @fernandeskaran they might have a cupboard full of detailing products.:D:D:D

Just received a bottle of Collinite 845 via courier from greenz car care.. I read about the wax being of thick consistency on the official website, but what I received is the liquid with the milk like consistency. Is this due to summer effect, temperatures around 40 degrees .
Is this genuine product I have received.
    Any pointers guys

Got the answer. Kept the bottle in the freezer for under 5 minutes. Got the Thicker wax around the neck of the bottle.

Dont keep it in the freezer. Just keep it at normal temp. Shake well before use and apply a very thin layer on surface. Dont let it dry for very long. Start buffing as you see it starting to haze up. If it dries completely, it will take more effort to buff and in that extra effort you will take off more layer of the wax, eventually making the whole waxing effort a waste.

I kept it in the freezer just to check whether it genuine.
Did the small portion of bonnet as you've mentioned. Fine results. Can't control to do the entire car.

The weather is so hot, even the paste wax will start melting :D.

Apply in shade and when the temperature is cooler. Else you will be drained physically by the time you are done buffing off the dry wax.

Did the 6 to 7.30am session for the Collinite 845. Excellent mirror finish. I have been using the abro carnauba wax every two months. Would say this is a far superior product. Comes out very easily.
One thing I noticed is that very small quantity goes on and on. Very small.
I think one bottle would last for 10 to 12 times for a Punto.
Had lot of sweat, and it was beading off nicely. The car looks as good as new. Need a dispenser bottle next time.

What is general opinion of PVA chamios car cleaning towel

I am using it for last 3 years with simple soap solution and it is doing a good job without any swirl marks so far.

More on collinite 845. Other than summer, I would recommend on inserting the bottle in warm water for 15 - 20 minutes. This makes the wax very thin. So much so that it isn't noticed easily after application.
Also I've started using a 10ml dropper bottle (of a used eye drop) to transfer the nicely shaken mixed wax from the main bottle . Its easy to use and rub the liquid wax droplets by a sponge. Mind you, you end up using less than 10 ml for a punto size car.
While it easily wipes out, it's almost a 2 hours job including washing.
Also for the first time I tried the Bactersheild hand-wash for washing. It doesn't contain the SLES or Ammonia. Any comments please.
PS: On a lighter note, I have read somewhere early morning hours hard core exercise gives a nice T-boost. I'm waiting for that ;).
