I use Jopasu Duster for dry cleaning. The microfiber cloth if wiped dry could cause superficial / hairline scratches on the painted body. The Jopasu duster comes with coating of wax which pulls the dust away rather than spreading it over the surface.

Question - When the Jopasu duster pulls the dirt away , where does the dirt go. If it has properties to pick the dust and not let it go easily then guess the 2nd round of dusting will be the Jopasu which has dirt trapped to its wax infused strands.

A dry clean MF still stands a better chance of avoiding swirls if used in small area at a time and MF sides changed for every panel.

I stopped useing the Jopasu for the very specific reason that it left lot of swirls even though i would vigourously dust-off the Jopasu after every stroke. Now it is used only for glass and that extremely rarely.

Best is to use MF with some of the waterless wash products available in the market.

    Pradeep,

Better get a Jopasu duster which will clean the dust more faster and effectively than a MF cloth. I generally follow once a week washing of the Punto routine. No need of daily washing. For daily dust removal, I have Jopasu duster.

Its always advisable to tap the duster after usage so that any bigger dust particles falls down and after a pre decided frequency usage the duster can be washed too. What I generally do is after washing and drying apply generously Formula 1 High performance Carnauba wax spray. This rebuilds the wax coating on the threads and the duster is back in operation.

I do not have the answer to your question.
What I have found is the duster is huge and is effective for about a month and half, beyond that I soak it in plain water and rinse off the dust. After, leave it to dry in cool place for couple of days or more.
One duster usually lasts about 6 months. Also as pointed by Ghodlur in previous post it is faster as compared to MF cloth.

Guys, Jopasu duster might not be a great option as it may create swirls on the car. I stopped using them now.
