    Karcher K2.110

Bought a Karcher K2.110 recently, after an average experience at a detailing store in Bangalore. Also bought the following genuine accessories, which were not part of the kit.

    • Foam Lance - 0.3 L
    • Vario Power Spray Lance
    • Water Filter

Total cost including accessories is 10k~11k. Washed both the cars yesterday and am quite happy with it. Waiting to get the specific hose adapters, used a simple jugaad yesterday to get it working.

Karcher is a bit pricey, but then German products are never cheap and reek quality.

I have couple of small videos that should give you an idea of the equipment.

Feel free to ask me any questions, I washed 2 cars single handedly in about 2 hours.

Pardon the self shot video, was holding my phone in one hand and the spray gun in the the other. :p

I am yet to receive the garden hose adapters and the 4L of car wash I ordered. :D Did a jugaad to get it running yesterday.

Sham, the equipment alone costed around 6.3k after discount from snapdeal.

    The box contains the following.
    1) The machine
    2) Spray trigger gun
    3) High pressure hose
    4) Spray lance
    5) Warranty card
    6) User manual, Karcher catalog

I bought the following additional genuine Karcher accessories.

Vario Power spray lance - 2.4k
    Foam lance, 0.3L - 1.3k
    Water filter - 1k

The vario is needed because at times you may need to control the pressure else the paint/tyres would get damaged.

The product is very easy to use, I would have preferred a longer pressure hose though.

Karcher is bloody expensive for the sake of being German, the Skil pressure washer has most of what I bought extra as part of the standard kit itself! But Karcher is better built and is less noisier.

Air bubbles in water supply affect the equipment and pressure drops and delivery is jerky.

It eases our work by large and it uses very less water, more like 20 percent of what I would use for a similar wash using a hose and bucket.

I am planning to buy the angled spray lance too but it seems pricey at the moment and I want to stop spending money now. :D

Feel free to ask me any specific questions.

Hmmm...looking at the pics I was wondering why the reflections don't look sharp. Got the answer in your process - it's only compounded & yet to be polished.

Can you do a short review of the InstaFinish products once you're done?

Even Ive been using Karcher for the past 5 years. Model is K2.100. Wonderful product & worth the money. Only issue would be with the spares. I contacted 2 dealers in Kerala for getting a particular spare for which they replied saying that they don't have spares for K models (Home segment) . I was also looking for this Vario Power spray lance. Why do you need this additional water filter ?

Seems like you are using the vario lance in the 2nd video ? Actually you get lot more pressure than this.
