here is a list of available gtechniq products from a Bangalore dealer. You can talk to Mr Hari on the given number in the website.

Checkout their permanent coating its amongst the best out there.

Rather than a permanent one, i'm more interested in a semi permanent one. Sunny what are you using?

That isnt Gtechniq. Its just the polishing needed to give Gtechniq a proper base. THIS below is Gtechniq C1 applied :D

What exactly did you do? I demand a step by step :D

Awesome work.I have never been very keen on detailing work, but these pictures have now lit the spark. Please do educate us innocent folks.

    I'll list down the steps:

    Palio :

    • Wetsand using 2000 grit
    • Compound using Osren Velvet Pad + Megs 105 / Megs Cutting Pad + Megs 105 / LC Orange Pad + M105 (tried different combinations on different areas to see which worked best)
    • Polish using LC White pad + Megs #83 DACP
    • Wipe down with IPA to remove all oil/polish residue
    • Apply Gtechniq C1

I still have to apply Exo V2 :p

    For the Punto:

    Wash
    Clay using Mothers Clay bar
Meguiars Cut n Finish with LC Orange Pad. Power went off after one pass so couldn't do more polishing :(
    Meguiars M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax

The Punto was my first attempt at "Production Detailing" to see how much I can achieve in one step. Did not exactly achieve what I wanted but it learnt a lot about fiat factory paints.

All of this was done on a SKIL 9080 Rotary with Meguiars W64 backing plate.
