Collinite lasts long. Get 845 or 476.

Hood this morning after yesterday's session:

I also can vouch for Collinite 845 Insulator wax. It lasts atleast a month and also gives deep gloss. Beads water like anything. It is a bit costly though.

There are a set of detailing enthusiasts who swear by Waxpol wax. But it needs a lot of elbow grease when compared to the above. At the end of the day they are all waxes only difference being the brand. Unless you are a detailing nut, you should be happy with any genuine carnauba wax based product.

I'm using eagle one liquid wax. I've seen good results as it leaves behind a deep wet look and my car is black so that's just too good to look at.
I'm happy with it but want to try colinite or meguir's tech 2.0 .
Unfortunately this wax lasts really long so from the past 1.5 years its just gone down by a few 100 ml.
Cost is also high , i think i paid 900 for 1 lt but quite durable

as for which is the best wax around?

can you explain the clear coat polish please?
Where did you get it from and what purpose it has served compared to normal polish?

    Clear coat gives wet look.
After having applied polish(105 product code) one more hand with cleat coat polish(111 )that's it.You can easily find the difference,Mirror finish.

Long time lying around bottle Golden paint.
    Thinner from recent paint work
    No other work on weekend
    Plus car looking very dirty..

So washing, waxing and painting.... Done in approx 4+ hours straight. No not boasting or anything.
Will go for Tech wax or coolinite next time. This turtle wax doesnt stay for long :(
    IMAG0185.jpg

and finally inspiration from Sham aka theblack.. :dancing
Done in 30 mins for 1 tyre. Will do for rest 3 tomorrow morning, due to poor day light ;)

I loved the outcome :dance though its not excellent. Will take few more pics 2morrow morning in sun light after finishing rest 3.

P.S: Golden paint used here is the one which is used to paint the metal grills viz gate, staircase support, etc. Not sure how long it will be stay on the tyres. Fingers crossed :)

Good work Zen. Reminds of the old Bond film 'Goldfinger' , especially the chief antagonist's passion for anything gold ;)
