A machine is nothing compared to the hand when working on "sensitive" areas. :up

Guys i need some experts help here.
    1. Two nuts on each of my front doors hinges have started to show some rust in them. I want to prevent further damage. What can be done?
    2. I don't have mud flaps in my vehicle hence i could able to see some black dots (I guess these are thar sediments) on the bottom of both front doors as well as the bottom of rear bumper. Btw i am currently using the Jopasu car cleaning solution (Pink color) for washing my car. I am able to remove some black dots with lot of effort but still the left overs are visible. Is there any solution to remove these substances?

@anoop: thanks for letting me know the best place to post these questions.

try using kerosene to remove the thar spots. use cotton swab and rub on the spots lightly. I did so on my car.
As for the rust, best thing is to clean the rust and touch it up with paint using a point brush (diluted in thinner).

@nbvcrao - use kerosene, diesel etc ONLY if you want to destroy your clear coat. Do stay away from all these - they actually do more harm than good. Please do read through this thread to understand more.

Got this doubt for a long time now.

When we go to professional car washers, the engine would be hot. Would it harm the engine in anyway? That we get it washed while the car engine is still hot?

Express Car Wash from ManMachine Group offers hot steam wash to the engine. Is this safe?

While filling-up the fuel last weekend, there was 2 guys selling Eurogold products. Though I wasn't interested, but they impressed me with removing some stains/minor scratches from my car.
I bought one kiy containing - Rs 475.

    • Stain Remover
    • Clean ā€˜Nā€™ Shine Wax
    • Windshield Cleaner

@Ravi - i got this one as a gift from one of my uncle, and I personally found the quality horrible. If you love your car, please stay away from products like this :)

Thoroughly avoidable. It may look impressive during demo, but actually this is a dump product. I have once fell for this trick and I still regret for it.
