It looks like Fiat vehicles are attracting the heartless scratch makers like flower attract insects. Some sadist has selected my Punto for his piece of art work. A nice curve and some black spots. Looks like a bike or bicycle fellow who has parked his possession next to mine and gifted those curves. Luckily the scratches are not deep(if I run my finger on it I am not able to feel the scratch but it is visible if come close) and a rubbing compound will do the job. I had ordered collinite 915 and was planning to do my waxing next week. Any body has used compaint for such very minor scratches?

Hi Sungoa..sad to hear that..even 2 days back I got a good dent on my rear door with absolutely no scratches. I had left my car in the parking lot. No idea how it happened. Maybe someone had opened the adjacent car's door so hardly..What I wanted to tell you is if the rubbing compound can do the job, then that is the best option. You cant simply spray so approximately on the scratch. Better to leave the idea of using compaint on such small scratch.

I had applied collinite 915 wax two weeks ago. I am happy with the result even though it took 4 hours for me and given severe pain on hands for next two days. Now very easy to clean and water beads properly. It has given an elegance look to the vehicle.

I found a simple solution for saving my car door from hitting the garage walls. Punto's door open in two stages and if the position of the wall is between the first and second stage, there is a chance for a mild heart attack. I cut long piece of thermo col and pasted it with Feviquick(3 packs costs 15 rupees) and pasted on wall where the doors will hit the wall. Know I don't have to worry at all about 4 doors when my son getting out of vehicle.

teky - 6 hours is a very good exercise !! You reminded me what I was doing last year. Since last 1 year I've become lazy & had not wax'ed my Linea. Actually 3M Paint Protection treatment spoilt me ! Now every Saturday I decide that I would do it on Sunday only to end up not doing it.

Tomorrow is a holiday & again I'm thinking of waxing my Linea. Let's see if I end up doing it.

    Here you go...http://solutions.3mindia.co.in/wps/...rvices/Exteriors/Paint-Protection-Treatments/

No. 3M Paint Protection is not Teflon treatment. It's 3M own treatment. Teflon is a brand/ trademark of DuPont
