Once you open the fuse box cover , you will see that there are a couple of screws above the box. You can use these for ground.

    Thanks for confirming.

The ciggy lighter socket that comes with the Equipment should already have the circuit to stepdown the voltage so you can something like this.

Or may be this can be sourced easily. This might actually be cheaper in the local market.

These FUSE TAP's are a good idea to actually tap power from the fuse box. As i mentioned, i still need to find a good terminal for the "ground" in there.

Ahh thanks, I can visualize only the bolts holding the Fuse box which do not seem to be touching the body, but if there is something else in there that is touching the body, great. I'll take a look today.

I was thinking about doing this on my car since the last few weeks.
Finally got the things required and did it in about 2 hours.

I selected warm white colored LEDs.

    Here are a few pics.

This color gels well with the cabin light.

The placement is as shown below.

    Driver side

I have already planned the placement for the LEDs to illuminate the back. And the boot.

I need to light up the rear seat footwell and the boot. I ran out of wires yesterday. :p
