    I Think the manufacturer takes the money in advance before invoicing it to the Dealer,
    I know this because i was working with a Authorized dealer for Bajaj tempo, Were we used to send the D.D and upon that the vehicle would reach our yard in 4 - 7 days, these was 15 years back.Think the same thing is continued,
    Only one way the manufacturer would benefit is by giving the dealer a gud marginalia than the Tata, But no issue in discussing this as FIAT is coming out with its own Sales and Service Network.

    I dont think TATA is either giving credit nor managing the shipments properly. Their system hardly gets updated with the transit status for FIAT cars. Cant blame them as they got what was required from FIAT and simply ignored them and FIAT conveniently forgot their responsibilities as well.

    With the new entity being put in place, lets see how things turn out.
