Thanks Mahesh. It is so addictive. If it was pocket friendly then the odo would have been reading double.

    Channa,

Now that petrol is sub 75 rs mark, I think you can attempt to double. But I wouldnt bother if I were you in case of T-Jet,the jet should be flown only for special occasions. For the daily run, I think the Palio will suffice.

I think it should be the other way round given that turbo is efficient and fuel efficient in effect. For short distances and bursts the GTX would never disappoint. Tjet is more eco friendly, economy and ecology. ;)

Girish. Yes jet is now the favorite for all long trips.
Palio maintainance is getting higher so it is limited to 100kms radius run.
Both have the same thirsty figures in city.

Asim, but palio is fun to drive in city as well. No turbo lag nothing.

Diwali, Son's holidays and Cousin's engagement, exaggerated bus fare (1000 per head) and a a week holiday enough reasons to convince finance minister to take the JET ;)

Journey started on Saturday 18th Oct 5:20AM

Next stop at Vithal Kamath Mohol, one of the decent hotel on this highway. Neat and clean specially the rest room.

The road after solapur is not as bad I initially thought. The patch work is going on, but still one need to drive very carefully as you might hit the pothole anytime.

T-Jet is just amazing on any road. Be it highway or broken roads. The comfort it offers is just amazing. No fatigue no tiredness!

Here are the final Mileage Figures

    @mchanna

Superb pics of the Jet. You seemed to upset the jet with lower average speeds and it showed in the mileage achieved. Next time keep the Jet at the respectable speeds, it will reciprocate with better mileages.

    Thanks Girish,

No, I was summoned to not to cross 100. But still I did 120-130 till Solapur. After solapur road is not in great condition.
With family on board I feel that is the max safe speed.

T-Jet can offer both performance and mileage. But your need to have greater control on your ego and left foot (which is very difficult).

I drove back from Bidar to Pune this Sunday.
The traffic was little less and I manage the speed constantly between 70-90.

Here is the wonderful mileage figure of T-Jet
