    If this helps ....

From one of the Italian Punto forums, the Grande Punto CC is connected via Pin 8 (from the 12 Pin connector) in the steering column to Pin 41 (from the 60 Pin Connector) in the engine bay.

This is for the wiring, when the wiring isn't available already.

    OK, this is helpful.

Intial check would be to do the below to figure out if wiring is present.

Check on the ECU connector (60 PIN in engine bay) if PIN 41 and Pin 34 have wires into them. If yes, it probably means wiring is present.

Hang on a second. That 60 pin connector is in the BCM, behind the fuse box, inside the car. Not in the engine bay.

Also, we need to confirm, if we have the clutch switch. Though Gurjinder had confirmed the same and there was a Pic posted by Mr.Rajan, it would be great if we check and confirm if it is available on GPs aswell.

@Mr.Rajan: Could you please let us know, where exactly can one locate the Clutch Switch?

It is right above the clutch pedal in the footwell.

Body Computer or ECM (Electronic Control Module) is different in old Active/Dynamic punto from the one in higher variants

Not sure what is the difference but the part numbers are different for both.
Even for old Linea Active it is different.

I really would not go by the part number alone. The exact same part has a different part number for a different assembly line. Inventory management, I guess.
