    I have 9 credit cards.

    1. Standard Chartered Super Value Titanium. Following are the benefits I get:

    - 5% cash back on fuel (2.5% surcharge waiver + 2.5% cashback)
    - 5% cash back on telephone bill
    - 5% cash back on power bill

Plus for other purchases I get 1 reward point for every Rs.100 spent.

This is the link to the card : Super Value Titanium Credit Card | Cash Back Credit Cards | Standard Chartered Bank India

    2. Standard Chartered Manhattan Platinum. On this I get 5% cash back at super markets, departmental stores and boutiques

    3. HDFC World Signature - Good for high value purchases (since reward point redemption is better). Also at times get access to airport lounges when I show this card

    4. Citibank Cash Back Titanium - 5% cash back at restaurants and super markets

    5. Kotak League Platinum - Don't use this much. But at times they do offer some really cool interest free EMI schemes on flight tickets, electronics etc.

    6. ICICI Coral Credit Card - Get two free movie tickets every week (i.e buy two get two free). Plus 15% discount at selected restaurants. Last year they also gave me 2 Free tickets for Jet Airways since I spent more than 50k on the card in one year

    7. Axis Bank Titanium Credit Card : don't use much. Axis Bank gave it to me without me asking for it. Some times there are some offers on apparels, electronics etc

    8. Citibank IOC Credit Card : Used this card when I used to tank up my car at Indian Oil Bunks. Used to get surcharge waiver and 4x reward points. Don't use anymore. However have kept the credit card alive since the credit limit it good. Use it for occasional transactions

    9. Standard Chartered Times Credit Card : Very rarely use it. This used to be a Barclays Card till Standard Chartered bought their Credit Card division. Rarely use it. However if the Times Group is sponsoring any events this card can get you some nice discounts

Link : Not able to find

Credit cards are awesome if used responsibly. All these credit cards combined save me atleast 10-12k every year.

OT: @Amogh, wouldn't having too many credit cards affect your credit score adversely?

    Rajan,

This is what everybody asks me. Number of credit cards has zero effect on your credit score. In fact, my credit score has consistently gone up (currently 800+) all these years.

    The trick is:

    - Never utilise too much credit limit of your credit card. Even if you do, pay it off quickly
    - Pay the FULL amount and pay in time

The kind of flexibility credit cards provide is unbeatable.

    Ravi,

I know the billing date and due date of each card from the top of my head. While swiping a credit card I swipe the one that is going to give me the longest interest free period. I have got used to these calculations now :)

I would vouch for ICICI Coral Credit Card. It is pretty good.

All the cards I have listed are free.I don't pay a single dime as annual fee. The ICICI Coral Credit Card was offered to me by ICICI free of cost as "special relationship" gesture. Don't pay any annual fee on that too.

A credit card with annual fee does not make any sense and that is why you do not find SBI Credit Cards in my list.
