Hai i am having a September 2010 Linea Emotion PK 1.3 MJD which has done 1750km. I just wantedto know whether my car is fitted with modified clutch slave cylinder as the older model were prone to breakage. Please let me know?

I could be termed as "2nd generation CSC" . There is the latest "3rd generation CSE" which is out now with metal parts.

i have a dec-2010 linea mjd and the 1st-2nd gear shifts become Extremely hard after 30-40 minutes of driving! I am a new driver and used to stall the car quite a few times. improving on that front but still not there. taking that into note, is it my driving that has done some damage or is it the clutch cylinder? I am sure i do press the *long* clutch fully everytime!

CSC 1st batch was faulty made of flimsy plastic...now FIAT has replaced that wid strong aluminium ones..so i guess u need a new CSC..dont forget to tell TASS to bleed the clutch after installing new CSC...

I got my CSC replaced in Dec 2010. The bill says "KIT CLTCH SLAVE PETROL (STEEL)". First a plastic one, then an aluminium one, and a steel one now? However I never had a critical issue with clutch, except that the gear shifting (2nd gear) was a little difficult before the upragde.
