    Hello Everybody,

Yesterday evening, was rushing towards hospital, on NH suburban chennai & on traffic, my clutch pedal went down while shifting gear and did not come up. Managed to get aside the road, thanks to God, pulled the pedal up and down, the clutch does not engage at all. Had to tow the vehicle to service center.

Kindly advice what could be the issue and is this common on Punto. This is a 2010 model, 53k self driven. Awaiting feedback from service center.

It's a well known problem with the clutch slave cylinder. Ask FIAT to fix it free of cost if they did not replace it earlier.

It is a problem with Slave cyliner and is fixed. Seems like only for certain chasis series or batch there was a manufacturing defect. So need to shell out 15 hundred. Parallel writing to ceo on the same with broader perspective.
