Hi Team, Since this morning I have been getting the error "check diesel filter" message and also warning light glowing. When I see manual it relates to water in fuel filter. The service was done during March 2020 where I had changed the filter as well. Not sure how this could get clogged. I have filled diesel in reputed location and more or less in same place within bangalore since past 2-3 years. So I have less reason to suspect it could be due to fuel contamination. Other could be the weather being cold and causing condensation. Have anyone faced this before? Any known reason would help, Thanks. Planning to visit ASC afternoon. Fuel filter sensor had gone bad.Strangely the filter sensor comes as a set with fuel filter, so had to make do with a spare old sensor. Will replace set when next service is due.
Please do update if the error has gone now. Today finalized a Nasik passing 2013 made Linea mjd emotion (81k kms) for a close friend for 2 lakhs. This car too had same error. A thorough repair and maintenance is required, but we will be doing this in FNG.

Fuel filter for Linea comes with sensor, available on 99rpm.com. Linea is a great built car. One selfish corner of my mind is paining a lot, that my friend is getting a lot superior car for far less money. Will require 2 to 3 days to recover .
