    Uploading my 1st service bill copy, planning to do it for all services/repairs I undergo, it might be helpful for others as well as myself.

    Bought Air Compressor and Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge :)

    So far, I have filled Nitrogen air to my vehicles, I am tired of waiting in Petrol bunks and going to tyre shop (anyway those are inaccurate most of the times) for filling air, I've bought 12V Air Compressor (Ring Automotive(RAC610)) and Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge (AA) from amazon.uk through my friend. Air Compressor cost INR ~1200 and Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge cost INR ~800.

    Today tried it for my Alto and bike, it works like a charm, within few seconds it can top up air pressure to the desired PSI. Linea got excess air pressure so left it for now.

    Ring Automotive(RAC610) got analogue tyre pressure gauge, once we connect it to the tyre valve (i.e without 12V DC supply) the analogue meter shows tyre air pressure, good thing is that matches with AA Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge. While filling air it's good to keep 1 or 2 PSI more, because there is some loss while removing the air compressor and checking PSI in Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge. Not sure how reliable it will be in long run, keeping fingers crossed.

    Going forward planning to check every other weeks, I was in dilemma whether to buy this or not, simply bought based on Amazon review, money well spent :dance

    Some pictures of Air Compressor and Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge :
    (I've captured it with my 14" Laptop, just to get some idea about the size of the Air Compressor)

    My Linea's Extended Warranty start date and end date was entered incorrectly in the Fiat's system, not sure whether it's RDC's mistake or Fiat's. I came to know this during my 1st service from Ramkay, then I decided to follow up with RDC regarding this, if RDC didn't respond then I shall reach out to Fiat.

    Follow ups & Solution :
    --> On "Tue, May 20, 2014" called my RDC SA, some lady picked up the call and said that SA left RDC, then I explained her the warranty date issue, she told that she will check back and call me immediately - No response
    --> On "Wed, May 21, 2014 at 9:00 PM" sent an email to RDC CRM asking, Is this something RDC need to fix from their end? Or I need to reach out to Fiat directly? - No response
    --> On "Mon, May 26, 2014 at 3:23 PM" sent another follow up email to RDC CRM asking for an update - No response
    --> On "Wed, May 28, 2014 at 1:55 PM" sent another follow up email to "rdcfiat @ gmail . com", "rdcannanagar @ gmail . com" with CC RDC CRM - Still no response
    --> On "Sun, Jun 8, 2014 at 4:47 PM" forwarded my emails directly to Fiat ("service . india @ fiat . com") along with the Repair Order copy which I got from Ramkay, in that incorrect Extended Warranty is written clearly - Within ~12 minutes (i.e. Sun, Jun 8, 2014 at 4:59 PM) got an acknowledgement email from Fiat saying "we have forwarded same to concern department."
    --> On "Mon, Jun 9, 2014 at 2:17 PM" got response from Fiat with correct/updated warranty date

    Fiat addressed my issue within 24 hrs even though the request sent on Sunday. I am very much glad and replied back Fiat, thanked them with CC Mangesh.

    Kudos Fiat :)!!

    Chariot at 3M

    Chariot got very dirty because of my laziness/work/time constraints/water scarcity in our apartment due to summer and it's been 4 months it has been waxed, so thought of waxing it on 13-Jun-2014 (Friday). Got appointment with Mr.Dushy in 3M Nandanam branch at 10am, climate is not favorable so decided to just go with Foam wax, as usual Dushy and his team did a wonderful job.

    3M Foam Wash - Rs.438/-

    To address water problem for cleaning my vehicles, I have tried below approach in my bike yesterday and it's worked :D as I don't want to make other flat owners worried on using common water during summer.

    Water Base Can fitted with a pipe (surrounded with M seal) :

    IMG_20140615_162557063.jpg

    I have kept 20 ltr water can at 1st floor steps to increase water speed while reaching pressure washer.

    My 4.8 yrs Old GS150R after washing (just with water), next time planning to wash it using Formula 1 Carnauba Wash and Wax.

    For cleaning a bike, I used approx 15 ltrs of water.

    I guess to clean a car I would require two 20 ltrs of Water Can, will check and see.

    LINEA Earned R-E-S-P-E-C-T Again :)

    Last Sunday (29-Jun-2014) at 12 PM we (Myself/Wife/Kid) got an VERY IMPORTANT function to attend in my home town which is 420 Kms away from Chennai. We decided to start in Chariot (Linea) by Saturday (28-Jun-2014) early morning, packed all things on Friday (27-Jun-2014) including water bottles, filled diesel/checked tyre pressure in Linea, everything was ready for Saturday early morning Journey.

    Unfortunately our 1.5 year old boy got 103 degree temperature on Friday (27-Jun-2014) night, so cancelled Saturday's Journey, we are so much worried and took him to his Pediatrician on Saturday, he told that no need to worry and gave medicines for 5 days.

    My wife got her leg finger fractured couple of weeks back, now baby too sick, I was in a very confused state whether to take both of them for the function, as we are not sure whether we can make it for the function, our family members were thinking to cancel the function in home town, we feel guilty that the function may get cancel because of us, I told them not to cancel the function we will try our level best, because it's one time function in a life time. We decided to start on Sunday morning based on baby's situation.

    Baby was kind of OK in Sunday morning and he was sleeping, we started at 7 AM in Linea.

    Distance to cover --> 420kms
    Function Time --> 12:00 PM
    Passengers traveling with me --> Wife with fractured finger and baby who is not feeling well

    Few things I am very specific about,
    --> NO rash/Zig Zag driving at any cost, should not disturb others road users
    --> NO panic braking, plan in advance
    --> NO unnecessary honking
    --> Baby would not woke up because of my driving style and my wife would not feel any discomfort in her leg

    It's a tough task (at least for me), I prayed well, handed over the worries to Jesus Christ and started the Journey.

    Our bad time, though it's Sunday morning it look lot of time to move out of the City because of traffic. Once traffic get cleared, Majestic Linea is on its own, I want to cover as many distance as I can before baby woke up, other than toll I didn't stop anywhere.

    I felt like almost all road users gave way for Linea because at some instances while overtaking I could see that when people saw Linea in their RVM they allowed Linea to pass them before they move out of their lane, but when I was going in my Alto before buying Linea, even though people see Alto is approaching on other lane they don't even care to change their lane.

    Pain area with Linea is I need to plan well for overtaking, it don’t have sudden acceleration, though most of the 2.4L/2.6L engines who tried to cope up with me would have felt that this tiny 1.3L 90HP got something inside.

    Baby woke up at around 10AM, we stopped in a bakery shop, gave medicine/breakfast to baby, Myself/Wife had Coffee/Cake, took almost 50 Mins, resumed our Journey back.

    We reached the destination very safely and without any discomfort to my wife/kid. Though we are late by few mins for the function, it's always better to be late than never.

    Linea effect in Me/Family :
    --> If it's not Linea, I definitely wouldn't took my injured wife and sick baby with me
    --> When driving Alto in Highway I feel like I am the odd man out, now driving in Linea also I feel like I am the odd man out. With Alto it's like "Hey, Just stay behind", With Linea it's like "Hey it's Linea, give him way"
    --> My wife who don't like traveling in Car though her family owns good number of cars for past decade, now she is enjoying "Linea Drive".
    --> One of my family member who doesn't know much about Cars told to her Mom that "They are coming in Linea and they will be on time, don't worry" :) Earlier we arrived sharply in Linea again with a tight schedule for her delivery before she goes into operation theater, might be she would have correlated that.

    All I can say is, Linea earned (or I should say it deserve) R-E-S-P-E-C-T from Me/My family/Other fellow and friendly road users. Hail Linea!!

    Couple of pictures while returning back to Chennai (Please note Driver is taking rest not Linea :cool:) :
