As per manual, there could be issue with code, better to visit service center and get it checked soon.

    Do read your manual once.

Boss, I had it on my Active. It is the first indication that the Battery needs care and probably a change. I changed the Battery and didnt see the sign afterwards.

Once battery is weak, the electrical system can't function properly and hence random errors.

Oh... I think FIAT cars needs to have such alert. Because of these random error messages, the owner of the car can be worried or can be in panic mode also. we never know where & what will happen.

As Fiat cars has lots of alert messages like low fuel, engine check, key check, door opened, list goes on & on. Then why not for a weak battery?

I guess can we as FIAT officials this concern through TFI?? And to implement such feature in FIAT cars???

Guys you are right. Checked the Battery Gravity at TASS and it needs a deep recharge. That is the culprit. Rest is fine. Now need a new battery. January is very costly for my Punto. :)
    1. Fourth service done
    2. Insurance Done
    3. All four tyres changed with continental eco contact 3 185/70/R14
    4. Now a new Battery :). ( Half Nano (basic modal) would have come in this money.)

it doesnt show random signs if you have a weak battery. it consistently show this lock sign whenever the battery goes low. i had this experience twice.

Jumu, i guess its battery problem only. Low battery don't complete the whole circuit of sensor causing its failuer.
Still to be on safer side take your car to TASS and get your ecu log checked through OBD scanner.

Since two days i am experiancing same Lock sign. When i turn on ignition it dissapears. Seems i need to check battery and replace it.
Daily i use to run 50-60 Kms on Average. For past 3 days my car ran around 15 kms . Does car running is something proportional to battery charge?
I am neophyte in this area ...pls throw some light on my query.
