How did you infer that both are same?

Hi Friends, Even I feel the ride a bit stiff in my 2012 Ponto after I recently had a fairly long ride in one of my friend’s 2011 Punto, which felt very much planted & excellent sorted ride. Its running on stock 185/70/14. Today I observed something I wish to share & seek opinion. My Punto was parked for last one month (was out of station) & today when I took it out, felt the ride much better & less bumpy. Checked the tire pressure & found to be 25-26 psi (nitrogen). Ride has obviously become smooth & I wish to continue with 26 psi. My question is, apart from negative impact on tire wear & FE, is there any other negative of riding on 4-5 psi less than recommended pressure. Mostly I drive alone.

They showed me their files for parts - showed me that part number for suspension is same for both jet and diesel.

First impression of old suspension - I can 'feel' more road.. Any ideas why? Bumps and everything is felt more, in the sense that I know for sure exactly what kind bump and hump I went over. 2012 suspension just made me aware of the 'intensity' of what I went over.

It is same for post 2012 models. Not for Pre 2012. Did you make sure that the part number they referred was for pre 2012?

Positive - they had 4 part numbers for both jet and diesel - LH/RH each of year (blank) and year 2012.

The guy told me that year (blank) is old model and this was same part number between jet and multi, meaning that suspension is same at their end.

Now I am confused. We know for sure that suspension in MJD is bit soft whereas it is stiffer in the T-Jet.

If possible get all the 4 part numbers and specifically the part number for pre 2012 models. Let me try to see the part number in my MJD.
