    Yes.

For Punto, reverting back would reduce the GC from 185 to 170.
For Linea MJD, from 185 to 161 or 190 to 166 (if 16" wheels).
    For Linea T-Jet, from 185 to 165 or 190 to 170 (if 16" wheels).

Hope, I made it clear. :)

Few pics with the new (old - 2010) suspension setup :)

Haven't found time to wash the car last weekend, please pardon me for that !!!

Only the front portion looks a bit low and the rear portion still remains high but not as high as a post 2012 car.

Drove a Tjet 2013 for a good distance on a open highway with 4 passengers.
Ride was not a problem, but i badly missed the stick to the road like a leech feeling of my linea.

Yes. That is obvious and expected. What more can we expect from a car with 190 mm GC? That is the reason why I am recommending to downgrade to the older setup.

    The height is definitely lowered.

DRIV3R and Imran, Are the part numbers for MagnetiMarelli and Endurance struts the same? Please share the part numbers and the cost.

Imran, in this picture have you installed pre-2012 struts at the rear? Rear seems to be high

Ride on 2013 TJet is also on stiffer side. It doesn't remain calm and composed on undulating surfaces like the older TJet behaved.

Personally I feel, 190mm of GC for a sedan is an overkill. No sensible person will go offroading on a sedan, he/she would rather buy an SUV for that.

Sadly, I don't understand in which direction FIAT is heading with newer cars !!!

Yes, irrespective of the make, part numbers remain the same. You can always check at the spares counter or with 99rpm before you take the plunge. I went to the spares counter physically, had them bring the part to me and then gave them the go.

Here are the part numbers. Cost for parts alone would be 7-7.5k. Do note that you may have to add elastic pads cost to this in case they are in bad condition.

    Grande Punto Pre 2012 Struts
    Front LH 59089793
    Front RH 59089795
    Rear 59089724

Bro, height at the rear almost remains same, its very minute difference which isn't really noticeable.

Only front portion lowers good amount which is noticeable in the pictures.

    imran,
Congratsz for your resolution of Bumpy ride problem.
Now keep your eyes wide open to watchout the speed breakers :D .
Inadvance suggestion,if you feel speed breakers are headache and scraping problem upgrade the tires with higher profile rather installing GC KIT . :)evilsmile)
