Brembo already took over KBX Brakes...in 2009. IMO they might be concentrated on Export market now it might be localised too. Their plant is located in Chakan , Pune.

    Hi

The cost of Fiat Linea and Punto Type I is Rs 2800.00 . The product will be delivered to your place. This are imported from Brembo. Brembo Part no P 23079 . Brembo has a plant in Pune, india but only for 2 Wheeler higher end bikes. Like the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS has disc in the front with Brembo Brakes. Diagram is attached.

I would like to have one with T type also called " Badak" :evilsmile by mechanics. These are the new designs fitted on all cars post November 2010 models.

It is linea/punto Type II pad.
Perfectly Said - mechanics call it Badak. Badak term started originally with a Skoda Octavia pad whose ends at top like heads of ducks.
In Tata workshop they call type 1 pad as KAN ( Human Ear) ad type II as Badak ( Duck)
Brembo does not have direct replacement to this pad. It has skoda octavia pad which is similar to badak pad.
Please see the dimensions and picture of P 85041

In the normal market dealers sell this Skoda pad for Linea/Punto Type II although technically it is not direct equivalent but customers buys as not a single standard company globally has this pad, as probably it is modified design for certain countries for Punto/linea . Punto/linea in europe use totally different pads different pads.

Will it last the way the current brake pads are lasting. The initial ones provided by fiat gave away very quickly for many.
