i just changed to third set at around 51k :) i don't have any complains for the below two reasons:
    1. The short duration is very well compensated by the awesome braking ability!
    2. i know if i change my driving style they will last longer!

If disc has some marks then you can go to any workshop who can do a leth machine job, there he can give a small cut to dicks so that the plain surface is back for work.
This can be done if the disk's breadth is good. I changed my indica's discs after 90K km.
When ever I felt the rattles on applieng breaks on the speed of 60-80kmph I used to do that. After 8-9 months or after a year so.

In 30k kms, I don't think so the discs are completely eaten up.

These shops are doing the bushing jobs for all vehicals. You can locate the same by asking any garage or any automobile parts vendor. These shops are located nearer to these areas only. I guess in Bangalore, JC road is famous for car shops.

I changed my brake pads today at 13K...

Yes,,,not happy ...braking was awesome but brake life is too short ..it should last atleast 35K..

SA was sating for all 2012 models its around 12- 18K...only..which is pad..

He also told complaints have gone to FIAT...

    Cost was 3.5K including labor...
  7. Did the SA advise you to change the Discs too..
Can you post us the old pics of your pads... lets check if it was really time for replacement.
