    FIAT boffins would know the reasons!

    But, in general the solid paints are less expensive than metallic ones. Also, the process of painting the "premium" colors and the finishing may be different ; contributing to difference in costs.

    That said, i find no difference in premium or "ordinary". It all boils down to how well we care for the paint. I've seen a FTA Linea ( premium shade) look much drab and ordinary than BNW.

    Congrats, I am also planning to book Dynamic 1.3 MJD and having a plan to choose Medium Grey if not then Oceanic Blue.

    I spoke to the dealer about getting the car from VST, and was informed that we need to do a temporary registration - which costs 5K & the offers of VST may be different than theirs. :(

    Same pinch Pranav :) ... but am losing hope on getting the Med grey, as the dealer here is not giving me a concrete answer & makes efforts in converting me to some other color all the time I speak. Lets see :rolleyes:

    A bit late update:

    On saturday, I went and spoke to the SA & I saw the mail received from a Tata Motor guy. He had said that it may take 30 days.

    So, I asked him if some other color is available, he offered me TW Emotion & Dynamic OB. I asked my parents to come in and see those colors. Mom loved the TW & Dad was Ok with it. So went ahead and confirmed that I'll take TW on Wednesday.

    Applied for loan yesterday & it was released today. Tomorrow morning, I'm planning to do the PDI, followed by the registration. So all set.
    By tomorrow this time I would have taken the delivery, if all goes on well. Will keep you guys posted.

    Yeah, took the delivery of TW on 7th March & already covered around 650+ Kms :)
    & touched 120+ Kmph on the 3rd day.... didn't feel the speed until I saw the speedo, then I reduced it since it is a new car ;)
    May be one day I'll close the speedo :) :)

    The Car is Awesome !!!!

    Will post my experience in a new thread soon...
