Hi guys, I have connected the my pen drive to hear the songs in the car. By voice command, I have selected a folder and played a song in it. Consider the folder has 5 songs, then it just plays those 5 songs alone in loop. I have tried loop off by voice command. Still it's just playing the same folder unless I browse and select some other folder from steering mounted controls.

It doesn't even allows me to change the folder manually using the default audio player next folder button(but I was able to do last week).

Is there any settings that I need to make? I tried many ways but got irritated

Please help me guys..

 

@Karan I understand diffcult it is. Now I've got well used to it by managing the folder creation in pendrive itself. I now keep all recent hearing songs in that folder. Anytime to get out of any folder I simply say in voice command --> Play something or Play anything. Then I give voice command for Shuffle On for playing any song at random. Im now thoroughly enjoying my player and the stock speaker output.

You can also select folders by steering mounted controls. It is like this:
press Phone button using right hand -->use Up/down arrows to select media player --> select Folders and press phone button --> then again up/ down arrows to choose what you want .... one more way to choose folders other than voice.
Ignore the above if you already knew...

 

You can create a playlist with .m3u extension and add all songs in the folders to the list and play it. Make sure the songs path in the playlist is relative (without drive letters)

And thanks again for giving info about selecting the folders even without voice command. I didn't knew this is possible. Today evening I will give a try.

Hello all. I have got a question with regards to IPOD classic. When i connect through USB. The IPOD starts playing. No issues with that. But the actual query is... Is there any way I can select the playlist and play the desired playlist when connected through USB. I know I can play it when connected through AUX. But I feel there is a good amount difference in the audio output when connected through USB port.

Lately, I'm noticing an issue. Whenever there is an incoming call; no details is shown on the MID. Infact; there is no change in display at MID. Earlier it used to show the name of caller or number (in case not saved in phonebook)

Probably cause??
