Blue & Me Software Version update & All other queries

@nkrishnap what is the difference with our Blue and Me.? Why was this not offered in the Avvy i bought 15 days back? Any method to upgrade/change?

 

Guys,
anyone upgraded to the latest BnM ver 10.0? I have a Punto Evo and I presume I should select Grande Punto as both have the same BnM. can someone please confirm?

I am facing issues in connecting my redmi note with the blue and me. I am trying to pair my phone with blue and me for the past 2 days, but no luck

It tries to pair for about 2 mins and says pairing failed. I didn't even get a prompt on my mobile to enter the 4 digit pin.

In the BnM manual, trouble shoot says to restart the phone and try reconnecting. I did several times but no luck. Please help me.

I think there is something related to security on Android, you have to give permission somewhere, I dont remember where.
I had this issue ,by mistake pressed task manager and saw a permission box in the background.

I had a similar issue when I got my car. I use MI3 so it should be similar. Look under available devices in Bluetooth settings. Blue&Me should be visible there. Did you try pairing with another phone?

 

@avithe1 No, I couldn't find anything like that in my phone.

@nikhil0405 Yes, blue and me gets listed on my phone. The problem is that BnM gives a 4 digit pin. When I try to pair from the mobile, it doesn't prompt me to enter the pin.
I am able to connect other phones via blue tooth. It generates the pin by default when connection phones. How did you connect with BnM?

 

@Karan delete blue&me from the paired devices and try again. Also check whether your phone can connect to another BT device like laptop or speaker.

 

When will Fiat have touchscreen infotainment with GPS in built? Is there anyway to upgrade?

 

I had enquired just last week when I was at FASS. The touchscreen system is only available with the elganante version. Fiat has not offered this as an accessory yet.

 

@nikhil0405 The problem was that I couldn't pair my phone with the car because the phone didn't allow us to manually enter the pin.

After some search in play store, found an app called Bluetooth pair which pairs by allowing us to enter the pin manually. That helped me and now I have connected to blue and me. Thanks
