Oh! You lost your phone? I thought you lost your phone book. Sorry! After our MOD, now a Pune Fiatian has lost one.
It seems that there is no way to retrieve phone book of old phone by pairing new phone with it. Though I'm not sure.

I guess tracking a lost phone is one of the the easiest crime(crime because those who found it did not return it) police can solve. All they have to do is to give your IMEI to all network providers and ask them to trace it.

Downloaded and installed the Blue n Me version 5.5. Took about 5 minutes for the whole process ::T . Ipod now works like a charm (earlier used to just charge in the USB, but never worked). Will look for any other changes and update the group.

I'm trying to pair my N97mini with my Linea, but all in vain. :uh
The mobile completes the pairing with blue n me, and the MID also shows my phone, but then thats it nothing else happens.
phone book is not downloaded and if I make or receive a call, I cant hear the other person speaking even on the mobile nor on the Speakers of the car.
I dont know if the issue is with the phone or blue n me.
Any help will be very use full.

Ravi sir. What happens to the Trip data and date/time settings if we disconnect the negative terminal? Did you lose them as well?

I was having problem with Blue&Me for the last 2 days as it was unable to "end a call" from steering buttons. Had to disconnect the call from phone.
Yesterday, I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery for 10-12mins and I lost time/date/tripA data as well. Had to reset them manually.

I have been facing a issue with Blue&Me. I use my 30 GB Ipod Classic to play the songs. There is no problem as far as recognizing the Ipod and building the media library.

Unfortunately, Blue&Me does not read all the files on ipod. It stops reading after @16 GB. Is there a restriction in Blue&Me in terms of how many files can be loaded in Blue&Me?

    Regards,
    Ashish

This has to be due to the FAT 16 file system in use by Blue&Me. Size limitation is brought by the file system. Remember Win 98 days when using HDD larger than 8Gb was a no-no. Blue&Me does not load anything into the on-board memory other than the streaming data which may not be more than a few hundred KB. Same with phone books. The system does not store the phone books but builds only an index of data stored on phone. On calling the number, index searches the phone and dials if phone is present and paired.

@virus60. Check in your phone that it is data sharing is enabled on blue tooth. If security settings do not allow data to be shared, phone book index will not be transferred.
