I checked the manual of BnM man. It was not there :uh

Ok, the sound or volumne of the radio during song play is loud and hence i set it to 5 usually. But the same volume is used by BnM voice? I am not sure. But i increase it to hear the lady voice. To me it was confusing whether is there a different settings for just BnM which i was not able to find in the manual.

When I uploaded the xml, the BnMe generation details got filled automatically as First generation whereas my BnMe unit has the IMAGE ID info present under the Adv features.

Try taking it to a service centre where they might be able to reset it, not sure tbh.

I still don't know if my BnM is first gen or second gen as I couldn't see it anywhere :|

The External Volume is the option to increase the default volume of BnM voice and phone calls. When you increase it, the radio or CD that is playing will reflect a higher volume as an indication of what is being set. It will reset to normal in a few secs and your BnM volume will be set. I usually have the external volume in the range of 15-19, so taht i can hear the commands and phone calls clearly.

The problem is actually with the website in parsing the xml file or with the auto configuration program which generates the xml file.
In order to check if your BnMe is 1st or 2nd gen, in you car menu, go to Settings > Adv features. If you see IMAGE ID, then it's 2nd gen if not, it's 1st gen.

    ^^ I saw image id before I even updated to v 5.5 or 5.6 :|

Not sure, but after the update I can't install ecodrive, gives me a usb error 10 :|

Maybe because there was an extra folder in the pendrive :|

    Hello Friends,
Recently i have noticed that my blue & Me is not able pair and its now showing for pairing. For this I had shown this problem to Fiat service center Torrid motors (New) Andheri East. They told me that there is problem in the B&M and need to replaced completely.

    1. I am really surprised with this answer , that its not repairable and have to change it completely.
    2. I have first check and make sure if its really not working and failed.
    3. If its possible to send to fiat and check with their experts if its really failed. (has any one did this?)

This is only place where i will get some suggestion/solution.

I recently bought T-Jet emotion (Sept 2013), tried installing Ecodrive but every time I got USB error:10. Hence I updated BnM to version 7.0 as per the Config file provided by you in your earlier post. Update was successful but still I am not able to install EcoDrive on my Linea. Still error is USB Error: 10

I formatted USB drive to FAT32 before preparing the USB for ecodrive.

Are you able to install EcoDrive post upgrade to 7.0 in your Linea. Please share the details.
