Blue & Me Software Version update & All other queries

Ballu, there is another reason this error can occur. B&Me version in your car could be 5.4.09, which was loaded into all Linea/Puntos. If you directly try to upgrade to 5.5, you will get an error. The version has to be upgraded to 5.4.1.1 first and then only 5.5 will be accepted. I don't know if you tired this, but I feel this could be the problem.

 

Even I am also getting this "USB Error:10", I have used two Pen Drives still getting this error. Should I try the disconnect battery and reset method?

 

I do not know why plain software upgrade has so many issues, does it mean that Fiat virtually does not have a testing center to test out these issues ?

I approached both KHT motors , whitefield, Bangalore and Concord Mortos, Dairy Circle, Bangalore for Blue and Me upgrade and both places it was not successful.

Fiat have updated the Blue N Me 5.5 package that was present on its website. Earlier it was 51.2 MB and now it's 52 MB. It have 2-3 new files dated 2 September.
Those having Error 10 Problem can try updating using this.
I have updated my Blue N Me to the latest one. Good so far. No problems. Just had to repair my phone again.

After 2.5 months, today I tried calling a number using steering-mounted control. It didn't work. But, voice control worked. I tried re-pairing of the phone, but even that didn't make steering-mounted control work. So, I disconnected the negative terminal of the battery and connected it after 5 minutes. Now, steering-mounted control works fine.

 

Microsoft Windows at work Ravi. Even Blue N Me needs restarts like Windows do being a Microsoft branded software.
I am happy at least Blue N Me don't have a display or we all would have to see Blue Screen of Death as well like windows

 

yeah most blue and me problems can be fixed by re-starting..hopefully FIAT will switch to Android based systems soon. I heard those work great. Any way just yesterday i tried updating my blue and me with the latest 5.5 i got the USB error 10.

 

Is there any way that we can download the phone book from car to phone using blue n me :confused ?
I lost all my contacs with my phone and I dont have any back up of my phone. :hit :hit :A :A
