upgraded to blue & me ver 6.0 successfully.
Eco drive installation is giving error

 

Hello fellas,
updated my B&M to ver. 5.6 -- i had read it somewhere on the forum that, ver 5.6 helps connect ipod/iphone -- i've got a 4th generation ipod ver 5.1.1 -- when connected nothing happens -- can someone help me out -- what needs to be done? -- do i need to buy the adapter to connect my ipod? -- if yes, where would i find one?

Did you try switching to media player? Switching to media player should start playing songs. If that does not work, then go to Menu --> Media Player --> USB settings. You should see different options for iPod over there including your playlists

I am able to do all of the above using Blue and Me version 6.0 which I updated yesterday (didn't try using iPhone with earlier version)

 

@speedJet - thanks fr the input but no luck fr me. It doesn' t show me the required options. Will try updating the Version. Hopefully this will solve my problem thanks again..

hey mates i have tried to update my B&M to 6.0 but failed three times since then i have not tried, cause if somehow update is possible even then i won't be able to use eco drive.

 

while updating please follow all steps mentioned in the installation manual/readme - also ensure thatno Bluetooth device is connected and the door open warning is not showing on the MID. What is the error that it is throwing (check in the log file created on the USB stick?)

 

Hey guys, I am facing a weird problem with my B&M voice call, It does not recognize the number 2, Everytime I say a mobile number with a '2' in it, it would replace it with some other number, anybody facing similar problems??

Also the steering mounted buttons sometimes go unresponsive.

I have not done any updates on the software and my car is 45 days old....Any suggestions??

 

I donot use numbers as it doesn't recognize Indian english accent well,so use names.

 

It used to work well and the best part about it was there was no issue with the accent unless you pronounce it just right, It does not require an European or American accent.....I used to dial with numbers earlier and have showed off to my friends many times but this issue has recently started to emerge.

Also what about the steering mounted buttons going unresponsive sometimes and I would have to press it twice....Any suggestions??
