To my horror, I am not able to locate my system code card. This is what the manual says about system code: The SYS CODE is an eight-digit number
which uniquely identifies the system on your car and cannot be changed. So I guess this must be the code required if you lose the key.

Additional setting available under advanced settings is GPRS code which helps changing the GPRS code (not applicable in India I guess).

 

Kapil: Today, I checked SYS CODE displayed in MID and the code cards. But this 8-digit number does not tally with the electronic/mechanical codes for the key and code for Blaupunkt music system. It's totally different and intriguing.

 

That's funny! It seems obvious that the system code is being displayed on MID after query to ECU.

 

Hi, i updated my BnM version to 5.6. I had never tried playinfg from my ipod in previous versions and now with 5.6 i tried. The ipod playing worked when I tried navigating to music files through genres, artists or albums, but the playlists that i had on my ipod did not getlisted in MID.

has anyone got this issue? Is this something that can be corrected?

I tried this with my ipod Classic (30GB).

 

It should display the play list, B&M 5.5 with iPhone3GS shows the play lists.

 

My motorola xt910 is not getting recognized any more through USB. I am planning to update to B&M 5.6. I have an April 2011 punto with me, i assume it should have B&M5.5 installed in my car already? Or should i install 5.5 as mentioned in the manual? any opinions people?

Better start with 5.5 to avoid any unforeseen errors.

 

Prerana motors in bangalore arranged a check-up camp for puntos and i took the vehicle there. I raised this issue and the to my astonishment, the SA says Blue and ME needs a soft-update and i asked him which version, he say 5.8 .

 

Is this applicible to T-JET+?
Tried with 5.5 and 5.6 ..no luck .."config error" only coming up.

 

Same thing happened on my Jul 2011 Manufactured 90HP
