    I don't know if it is a new feature or it already existed, but in the settings menu, the b&m shows the security code after updating to 5.6. If it was already there, I am a dunce to have missed such a great feature.

    I am a bit skeptical about updating to v5.6. Mine is currently running v 5.5.1.3.

    V 5.5.1.1 had lead to odo blinking issue last year. A quick update to v 5.5.1.3 solved the issue.

    Is it worth updating to v5.6? I read scrolling is faster. Any improvement to speech recognition?

    @Akshay, security code is the one yo will need if you want to order a new key.

    @Yashik. Scrolling is a little bit faster and as a thumb rule, it is better to upgrade when update is available, else when you need to update it most (for example if and when Fiat launches blue&me nav), might end up with conifg error and so on.

    I've not checked in detail but when I scanned settings I don't remember seeing security code. Is it ainside the option of advance feature? does it show the security code of the car which can be used to order new key? Does it match with security code came with the car in the code card?

    Sometime back B&M was not even reaching the Media Player option. My Mic is not working so could not use the voice command.
    A quick upgrade to 5.5. and then to 5.6 solved the issue.
    Used a 2GB stick. No errors. Performed exactly as per the installation guide.
