ganges it works with almost all Sony phones very well there are some exceptions like android phone, win mobile and symbian phones of Sony.
This feature is just for show off, it would read the messages in english pretty well but if they are in hinglish it sounds really funny.

@ ramjn & maverick, not sure whether you guys found the solution, even i hvae the same issue... when i consulted with ASS guys ,they adviced me to update the blue & me and try... but after going through this thread and what you guys have discussed, i tot of downloading the same album from different site (coz the problem i got from the albums downloaded from tamilmp3world, voilaaaaa it worked fine... so i beleive may be something to do with the songs being downloaded at tamilmp3world , may be coz of Tag...

No, I was not. I did get my iPhone changed after that under warranty and got it with the older iOS.Since then I have not bothered with the OS upgrade.

Btw today I noticed some loose connection in the B&M unit. I was playing music from the iPhone and it was automatically connecting and then disconnecting.

 

Sync your iPhone with iTunes first after the iOS upgrade, then B&E will recognize your phone. Once recognized you can play songs from the iPhone, it also gets charged from the B&E USB port

 

Have you tried this? I ask because after that OS upgrade, the phone was not working in USB (for music) as well, and so I assumed its a compatibility issue.

 

Guys, i faced a similar issue and just posted a request to provide suggestions a few minutes ago. I am gonna try disconnecting the -ve terminal and check if its going to fix the issue. Will keep you posted.

 

I have an iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0.1, after upgrading the OS I just connected it to B&M and it didnt recognize the phone and the phone was not getting charged. Then I connected it with iTunes for downloading some songs to the phone, that time the phone synced with iTunes also. Later when I connected my phone to B&M the device was recognized and it started charging.

 

This does not work for me :sadblue.
