Hey Guyz,

I updated the OS in my iPhone 4 a couple of days back. While there has been no problem as far as phone calls (bluetooth conectivity) is concerned, when I plus my iPhone into the USB for music, B&M no longer detects it. In fact, my phone doesn't even charge.
Has anyone else faced this issue? I am planning to update the B&M software and wanted to confirm that it will work. I don't want to risk losing the bluetooth connectivity that I currently have.

I have an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0.1. For me also the phone doesn't get charged while connected to Blue&Me USB port, but yes I can listen to the songs from iPhone.

Your phone should charge with iOS 4.0. Mine used to till I upgraded to 5.0, as mentioned in my earlier post.

 

ABK I have iPhone 4 with OS 5.0 but my phone is working absolutely fine.. No issues with either charging or bluetooth. Try changing the cable that you use to connect the phone with Blue & Me adapter

 

Can anyone tell how to updtae blue and me to new version?? I have downloaded the update file which is in zip format.. what to do next?

 

after you unzip the file, you will be left with 7 files.

now take an empty pendrive, format it in FAT 32 format and fill it up with the 7 files that you unzipped.

now get into the car, roll down your windows and close all the doors so that you wont have any messages in your MID.

put the pendrive to the usb port and turn the ignition on so that all the lights on the display glow.

now wait till you hear the instructions and after about 4-5 mins, you will see an "update completed" message on the MID.

now remove the pendrive and remove the key and start the car.

the job is done.
